From Value Realisation to Value Resiliency
It's been a while since I've focused my creative energies towards retrospective templates folks
This one has long been overdue.
A recent poll showed that just 15% of people were certain that others understood their value.
Equally, the agile community has gotten a little over focused on tools and frameworks
With not enough attention paid to Value delivery
This template, inspired by the works of 'The Liberators' - Barry Overeem and Christiaan Verwijs - Will get you and your team reflecting on the 5 types of value and how they can maximise it
Grab a free copy of this retro at the link below and use it in Miro, Mural or pretty much any virtual whiteboard you can think of
How does it work?
Step 1. Choose a starting prompt - Select one at a time to narrow focus. It's a good idea to start with Customer value!
Step 2. Individual reflection - Practice silent brain writing as individuals to reflect on how the team could amplify value in that area
Step 3. Generate insights - Reflect as a group on what ideas have arisen, discuss trends or focus areas
Step 4. Capture actions - Agree SMARTER actions or experiments the team can pick up to deliver greater value in the future
Step 5. Do the thing! - Make sure to complete those actions to bring about the change in value you seek.
Happy retrospecting!
