The Agile Estimation Game
This workshop helps introduce agile teams to the concepts and challenges around estimation. Through a number of rounds, they'll be introduced to story point estimates of increasingly complex scenarios.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽?
Break the ice - Introduce the topic of estimation by asking the team to perform a simple task, organising animals by size.
Introduce Story pointing - Bring up story pointing as a means of estimation, alongside some tips around how to do it.
Goncrete Practice - In teams, proceed through three rounds of estimation, firstly, estimating fruit size, secondly, complexity involved in grooming a range of different dogs. Lastly & most complex, population size of countries.
Conclusions - Wrap up with the team by identifying what they learned, about estimation alongside what challenges they feel they'll face going forwards with estimating.
